What if you had the perfect body and never had to worry about getting physically hurt?  All you have to do is put your consciousness into your surrogate, a robotic avatar for the dangerous world out there.  But someone is "killing" the surrogates, shaking the bedrock beliefs of the new society.

Much has already been said online about Robert Venditti (writer) and Brett Weldeles(artist) The Surrogates, mostly in prelude to the big budget Bruce Willis movie.  While the movie has been receiving fairly tepid reviews so far, the book is worth your time...
