Doubling as a unique way to keep the acid rain away and a handy portable nightlight to see inside wallets and purses, Thinkgeek's LED Umbrella is an idea from the future that was way overdue for the mass market. More importantly, it's a lightsaber with an umbrella stuck on it!

Glowing rods attract the ladies (just ask Dr. Manhattan) so I'm planning on snagging a romantic illuminated kiss next chance I get. Price is right, too, at under $30.

I'm kinda surprised that these things haven't caught on already. Thinkgeek appears to be the only distributor. Is this the best kept cyberpunk secret?

Hmmm. I'm off to find hot girls willing to dress like replicants...
